The family that’s Rod Builders shares an ethic of quality and professionalism. We aren’t trying to be on television nor turn the world on its ear. We simply want to build the best quality car or truck at a reasonable rate. We love what we do, and it shows in our work. Custom fabrication is a trilateral relationship between an owner, a builder and a car. Like any relationship, it runs on trust, respect and communication. We are constantly aware that our customers are spending a lot of money and energy to get the car or truck they want. We do everything in our power to maintain the customers’ confidence in their decision to come to Rod Builders.

Business Practices

We aren’t your average hot rod shop when it comes to how we do business. We don’t stand around on the customer’s dime. We bill only for productive time spent working on your car, not for “thinking time”. You will receive an invoice every two weeks with detailed time sheets and photographs documenting work done. If at any time you don’t like the direction the project is going you can pull it. We don’t ask for money up front, all we ask is that you pay within 15 days.

What we do best...

We are technically more adept than the average car builder. We shine most on complicated and highly customized projects. We do considerable computer design and advanced mechanisms. We often take over projects that have come to a halt due to mounting problems. We do everything but spread mud and paint. Design, fabrication, wiring, plumbing, assembly and interior are but a few of our talents.
